In terms of video games, Sony has had a relatively good start to 2022. In January, the best-selling PlayStation exclusive, God of War, made its way to the PC, much to critical acclaim and commercial success. Just a few days later, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection dropped for the PS5 with Sony also revealing more details about the PSVR2 in the same month.

Then, earlier this month, Sony released Horizon Forbidden West, which critics loved even more so than the original game while also hyping up Gran Turismo 7 in its first State of Play event of the year.

Now, it appears that Sony wants to make it three months in a row.

Technically, Sony has already started its March slate right by confirming the PS Plus lineup for the month. With five games available to PS Plus subscribers for free - PS5 owners with an active PS Plus subscription can get GTA Online for three months after its launch on March 15 - March was already a big month for the PlayStation brand. But, rumor has it that Sony is planning to hold an even bigger State of Play in March.
