Grand Theft Auto 3, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, are finally back on Steam, but most of us would've preferred if Rockstar Games just left them exactly where they were.

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition came out in late 2021 in a fairly broken state and it hasn't improved much since. The remastered trio of the classic PS2-era GTA games was rumored to come to the Epic Games Store later this month, which is true.

What most didn't expect is that the bundle would come to Valve's digital games distribution platform first. Interestingly enough, the Steam version of the GTA Trilogy on the PC is listed as "playable" on the Steam Deck, which is enough to make you wonder who double-checks these verifications.

If it's any consolation, the Steam version of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition is listed for 50% off until February 2.
