Grand Theft Auto Trilogy: The Definitive Edition has been out on multiple platforms for a while now. However, PC gamers can only enjoy the much-maligned remaster of three of the most iconic games of the 2000s from the Rockstar Store - Rockstar Games' proprietary digital games storefront. But, it's been rumored for a while that the trilogy is coming to both platforms - the only question is, when?

Now, a leaker claims that the GTA Trilogy is coming to both the Epic Games Store and Steam in a few winks.

According to BillbilKun, a trusted source of PlayStation Plus info, the GTA Trilogy will be released on the Epic Games Store on January 19, 2023 at 4:00 PM UTC. They also claim that Rockstar will sell the bundle for 50% off for the first week.
As for whether the GTA Trilogy is headed to Steam, BillbillKun only said "probably," which means to say that Epic Games Store might have timed exclusivity over the trilogy.
We found out last year from the Epic v Apple trial that the North Carolina-based video game company isn't afraid to throw money around to make a game exclusive to its platform even if only temporarily.
At the moment, the PC ports of all the Kingdom Hearts games are only available exclusively on the Epic Games Store. It wouldn't surprise us if Epic paid a hefty sum to do the same for the GTA Trilogy. But, if not, then, all the more the reason to celebrate.
GTA fans are currently waiting for GTA 6 news. Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive continue to stay silent about the next GTA game. However, a leaker claims to have seen the trailer for GTA 6 ahead of its official reveal soon.
