was one of sony's best-selling games on the PlayStation 4 and was later repackaged under its "PlayStation Hits" label for $19.99, which included its only post-launch DLC, The Frozen Wilds. So, you can only imagine the surprise when everyone found out that Sony had literally doubled the price of the same game, which now costs $39.99.
While it's understandable that Sony is doing this to close off a loophole that would allow gamers to buy Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered for a lower price, GameStop is reminding everyone that Sony can only do so much.
"If only there was a place to purchase the game outside of Sony's grasp...," tweeted GameStop on X, which, in case you didn't know, is a subtle hint of what to do if you're looking to buy Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered at a discount.
Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered was part of Sony's latest State of Play presentation, during which it revealed several of its upcoming titles, including free updates for Astro Bot and Stellar Blade and the upcoming sequel to Ghost of Tsushima, Ghost of Yotei, which is coming out next year.
