Alan Wake is a certified cult classic. The game did not get the attention that it deserved following its original release in 2010. However, in the years since, Remedy Entertainment's psychological thriller has amassed itself a huge cult following that continues to marvel at its graphics that still hold up well to this day.

Of course, just because Alan Wake still looks pretty, this doesn't mean that it couldn't use an upgrade, and that's exactly what the Alan Wake Remastered aims to do.

With an October release date confirmed, it appears that the remaster will arrive just in time for Halloween.

Breathtaking New Trailer Confirms Alan Wake Remastered Release Date

The original Alan Wake game is widely considered one of the best horror games ever. Although the game hasn't gotten a sequel yet, its following has only grown over the years. In fact, it's following only increased when Remedy Entertainment released Control back in 2019 and then later published a DLC connecting the events of Alan Wake with Control. Then, earlier this year, Remedy confirmed the existence of the Remedy Connected Universe, which fueled the talks of a follow-up to the 2010 title.
