Dwayne "The Rock" is most definitely not going to be at WrestleMania 39. Audiences love for him to be there, especially as a competitor, but at this point, there's too little time to build up enough hype around a match featuring the Brahma Bull.
However, even though The Rock won't be part of the WWE festivities in Los Angeles, it won't be because he's not in in-ring shape.
Brian Gewirtz, a former WWE writer, dispelled the rumors that The Rock is out of shape.
In a recent Bill Simmons podcast appearance, the SVP of Development over at Seven Bucks, Dwayne Johnson's production company, said that The Rock's "ring shape" isn't the reason for him not being in WrestleMania 39.
Gewirtz explained that this all came from a rumor that Roman Reigns fueled when he appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. In the said appearance, Reigns told the show's host that The Rock "doesn't have time to get into ring shape."
