Hot on the heels of September's internet-breaking State of Play live stream filled with first-party exclusives, Sony has announced that its next event will take place in late October. However, unlike last month, where Sony shone the spotlight on first-party titles, the studio assured that it will dedicate this month to third-party titles for the PS4 and PS5.
TLDR; don't expect the likes of God of War: Ragnarok, Gran Turismo 7, and Horizon: Forbidden West, to be part of the upcoming showcase.
When is the next State of Play scheduled?
According to the latest post on the PlayStation Blog, the next State of Play will focus on "announcements and updates for upcoming third-party releases headed to PS5 and PS4". Although Sony did not explicitly confirm which games will be part of the next exhibit, we can only assume that SIE has several surprises in store for audiences who will tune in.
