Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is one of the most anticipated games of the year. Insomniac Games originally announced the action-adventure title at the PlayStation Showcase in 2021 but it did not provide much detail, including the game's release date.
After Sony revealed the title's gameplay trailer at the recent PlayStation Showcase on Wednesday, the studio revealed that the title is not a co-op game and will, instead, feature both Spider-Men as playable characters that gamers will switch between.
In addition, Insomniac Games promised to share more information about the game soon.
In a post published to its Twitter account, Insomniac acknowledged fans' questions about the game. The developer then stated that it will soon provide more news on the title, including its release date, pre-orders, and accessibility features.
It wrote, "Watching your reactions today has been spectacular. We know you have tons of questions about Marvel's Spider-Man 2 and we're eager to share more soon, including news about the release date, pre-orders, and accessibility features.
