Things have gone from bad to worse for Embracer Group's remake of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Previously, we reported that the game had already been canceled. Now, it appears that this is all but confirmed already.
Embracer Group CEO, Lars Wingefors, was recently asked about the upcoming PlayStation 5 exclusive remake at an investor meeting. But, instead of talking about it, Wingefors refused to spill more details, saying "no further comments."
Because of this, fans are left with more questions than answers nearly two years after the game's initial confirmation.

The ideal scenario was Embracer Group and whichever studio is working on the KOTOR Remake would join the barren slate of PlayStation exclusives that were part of Sony's first PlayStation Showcase since September 2021. Instead, we caught wind of the game's potential status just days before the event and it isn't looking good.
