Dying Light 2 goes gold two months ahead of its new release date

All in all, it's good news that Techland is confident with Dying Light 2's, hopefully, final release date.

Earlier this year

, Techland revealed that Dying Light 2 was going to release on December 7, 2021. Then, at Gamescom 2021, Techland was there to

show off the game's improved parkour mechanics

, among other things. Unfortunately, the December release isn't going to happen.

What is interesting here is how Dying Light 2 will fare in a relatively stacked month.

Knowing Techland, they're probably not as worried about appealing to the masses as they are making sure that the game makes the core fanbase happy and satisfied.
