Believe it or not, Death Stranding is celebrating its third anniversary in style as the game has sold over 10 million units across the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and the PC.
Death Stranding is the most recent game from enigmatic director Hideo Kojima and a first for Kojima Productions since it split from Konami. The game was originally launched on the PlayStation 4 on November 8, 2019.
The sales numbers are a combination of the original version on PlayStation 4 distributed by Sony Interactive Entertainment, the Windows version published by 505 Games, and the new Director's Cut version for PlayStation 5. The number also includes the downloads made on PlayStation Plus and Xbox GamePass for PC.
It's no small feat for any game to sell 10 million copies, especially one considered "niche" like Death Stranding.
