When it comes to remakes and remasters, nobody does it quite like Bluepoint Games. The newly-acquired PlayStation Studios developer is behind critically acclaimed remakes such as Shadow of the Colossus and Demon's Souls, which came out in 2018 and 2020, respectively. It's believed that Bluepoint Games is working on original content for its next project, but somehow, fans believe the studio is working on another remake as well.
Bluepoint has itself to blame for all the new speculations about what it's working on. The rumblings started when Bluepoint posted a holiday-themed image on Twitter and deleted it later. But, it's still on the internet for everyone to see, courtesy of reports as well as this blog post.
From left to right, the opened boxes showcase three notable games that Bluepoint Games has worked on before: Demon's Souls, God of War, and Shadow of the Colossus. However, the most interesting part is the plain mystery box found in between the boxes for Demon's Souls and God of War. Since Bluepoint Games has only worked on first-party Sony titles before, this helps in narrowing down the possible answers.
