We can pencil in Final Fantasy 16 as one of the titles that will be showcased at The Game Awards on December 8.

According to the official Twitter account for the upcoming gaming event, Naoki Yoshida, a long-time Square Enix employee and the producer of Final Fantasy XIV and XVI, will be in attendance for a "very special live presentation."

If this isn't a confirmation of an FF16 trailer being shown off next week, we don't know what is.

With that said, fans can tune in on December 8 at 7:30 PM ET / 4:30 PM PT to know more of the reason why Yoshida will be at this year's The Game Awards.

Final Fantasy 16 has been delayed several times already, with its latest release date being in the summer of 2023. However, all signs indicate this new launch window for FF16 is final.
