WWE 2K23 to get its first free WWE star soon

Let it not be said that 2K Games is hiding every post-launch content planned for WWE 2K23 behind a paywall.

Fingers crossed, Mia Yim is just the first of many free post-launch characters for WWE 2K23.

WWE 2K23 is getting a ton of post-launch content in the form of superstars over the course of the current year. But, while most of the incoming WWE characters aren’t going to be available for free, one is.

According to the official WWE 2K23 Twitter account, Mia Yim is the first free superstar included in WWE 2K23, generating a wave of excitement among fans.

Yim’s inclusion in WWE 2K23 is a testament to her popularity in his WWE return. After leaving the company in November 2021, she returned a year later as a face, feuding with The Judgment Day and Rhea Ripley and joining AJ Styles’ stable, The O.C. Now known under the name, Michin, Yim was drafted to the SmackDown brand.

Players are welcoming the introduction of free DLC characters in WWE 2K23 as a way to help improve player satisfaction as well as engagement.

It’s unclear what the WWE has planned for Miya Yim but if she keeps up her performance, she’s got a bright future as part of the main roster.

By providing additional content for the game at zero extra cost, the developers ensure players can explore new characters and enjoy fresh gameplay experiences. In addition to this, the strategy helps maintain the game’s relevance and longevity in a highly competitive gaming market.

As the first confirmed free DLC character for WWE 2K23, fans are looking forward to the next one. At the moment, WWE 2K23 continues to expand its rosters with more DLC characters.

The next content drop, Pretty Sweet Pack, will be available on May 17 and will add Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, and Tiffany Startton, Elton Prince, and Kit Wilson, to the WWE 2K23 roster. It’s available for purchase as a standalone DLC or as part of the game’s Season Pass. Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows are both part of the O.C. alongside Michin and AJ Styles.

Ever since returning last year, WWE 2K23 has continued to evolve and become the definitive wrestling experience.

It’s unclear what Visual Concept’s plans are for WWE 2K24 but we aren’t likely to find out more about it until later this year.

It’s unclear which factor the O.C. is going to feud against next now that Judgment Day are on RAW.

For now, WWE fans can look forward to seeing all the action unfold on Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown. Gunther, one of today’s top superstars, will be making his RAW debut in next week’s episode. Finally, we’ll find out who Seth Rollins is going to face at Night of Champions on May 27 at the conclusion of this week’s SmackDown episode.
