If you are a fan of the superhero television series, then you have definitely seen the third season and know that Soldier Boy survived his fall from one of the top floors of Vought Tower after Queen Maeve pushed him.
If you had any doubt about that fact, the actor behind the character, Jensen Ackles, has now provided confirmation. Ackles did this during an appearance on the Awards Radar podcast where he discussed his experience playing the villainous character.
Ackles was careful not to give anything away about the studio's plans for the next season. However, he did tease that his character is returning. He stated, "There's some things out there. I'm not allowed to give anything out, but we'll just say that Soldier Boy is not dead. Thank God."
Ackles's character Soldier Boy is a Captain America parody that was introduced to the show in the third season. They even have similar backstories as, like Captain America, Soldier Boy was created to fight for the United States of America during the Second World War. He also led his own superhero team that went on different missions around the world.
Unlike Captain America, Soldier Boy is an asshole. And as indulgent as Vought is in that world, even they got tired that they ordered his team to betray him and aid his capture by Russians who tortured and imprisoned him for decades.
