Fans worldwide are eagerly awaiting Grand Theft Auto 6, the upcoming title from industry giants, Rockstar Games. But with higher expectations comes its fair share of challenges, as highlighted by the CEO of Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar's parent company.
recently covered the interview by The Aarthi and Sriram Show with Take-Two CEO, Strauss Zelnick, where he'd spoken of the reason why GTA 6 is taking so long.
Here's what Zelnick said about the challenge faced by Rockstar in regard to GTA 6: I think that's a challenge that the folks that Rockstar face every time there's a new iteration of Grand Theft Auto. It needs to be something you've never seen before on the one hand, and it needs to reflect the feeling that we have about Grand Theft Auto. That's a big challenge for the team. Now, Rockstar's answer is just seek perfection; seek nothing short of perfection, and we'll get there. His words echo what he said last year when he said GTA 6 will set the creative benchmark in the entertainment industry.
Creating a sequel to the incredibly popular GTA V isn't an easy feat. As the second-best-selling video game in the world, GTA VI can't just create a bigger world with more missions. The team at Rockstar has the tall task of making a unique and immersive experience.
