Xbox Game Pass subscribers are getting even more games to enjoy before the month ends. After the Game Pass welcomed Hi-Fi Rush before last month ended and seeing the addition of several new games over the past week, Microsoft just threw in a handful of new games, headlined by Madden NFL 23, Cities: Skylines – Remastered, and Atomic Heart.
Madden NFL 23 is awesome if you haven’t bought a copy of the game yet, since it was first launched last year. Keep in mind, thought, that it’s exclusive to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers as it’ll be available on the Game Pass through EA Play. If you have a huge NFL-sized itch to scratch ahead of Super Bowl LVII on Sunday, this should be right up your alley. But, if you’re not the sporty kind, Microsoft’s subscription service is getting more titles as well.
Cities: Skylines has been out for nearly a decade but the incoming remaster lets you create megacities with more intricate details, traffic jams, and all. Finally, Atomic Heart is another day-one unlock that looks a lot like the lovechild of Fallout and Metro with maybe a hint of BioShock.

Here’s the complete February 2023 Game Pass lineup:
- Madden NFL 2023 – February 9 (Console, PC, and Cloud)
- SD Gundam Battle Alliance – February 9 (Console, PC, and Cloud)
- Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord – February 14 (Console, PC, and Cloud)
- Cities: Skylines Remastered – February 15 (Xbox Series S/X and Cloud)
- Shadow Warrior 3: Definitive Edition – February 16 (Console, PC, and Cloud)
- Atomic Heart – February 21 (Console, PC, and Cloud)
Unfortunately, as awesome as it would be if Microsoft just kept on adding more games to the Game Pass, it needs to off-load a couple every now and then as well. Besiege, CrossfireX, Infernax, Recompile, Skul: The Hero Slayer, and The Last Kids on Earth, are all leaving the Game Pass on February 15. In the case of CrossfireX, it might be the last time you’ll ever be able to play it as it’s set to shut down in May.
Speaking of the Game Pass, Microsoft desperately needs to inject more day-one releases into the subscription service if it wants to maintain its hold as the market leader. Fortunately, Hi-Fi Rush was a good start. Fans can look forward to several more first-party titles coming later this year, including Minecraft: Legends, Redfall, Forza Motorsport, and, hopefully, also Starfield.
