The Flash, starring Ezra Miller, has been plagued with several issues over the years, mostly because its lead actor could not seem to stop themselves from getting into trouble. At some point, there were reports the studio was weighing up whether to cancel the film or proceed with it.
However, the actor apologized for their actions late last year, agreeing to seek treatment for their mental health issues. Since then, the $250 million production has proceeded smoothly and is slated for release in June.
Now, according to Variety, Warner Bros. will screen the superhero film at CinemaCon 2023 scheduled to take place between April 24 and April 27, two months before its actual release date.
James Gun and Peter Safran have reshuffled the DC Universe ever since taking over as the joint CEOs of DC Studios. Henry Cavill and Dwayne Johnson, who starred as Superman and Black Adam, respectively, aren't in the DCU anymore while some, like Gal Gadot, who portrayed Wonder Woman, face uncertain futures.
