Capcom is a big supporter of Sony and its virtual reality ventures. The best-selling Resident Evil installment, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, was a huge seller on the original PlayStation VR. The franchise's eighth mainline entry, Resident Evil Village, is also part of the PSVR 2 launch lineup.
Now, it appears that the remake of Resident Evil 4 will be available to play on the PSVR 2 VR as well.
The official announcement of the Resident Evil 4 VR mode reads:
The VR mode for Resident Evil 4 has begun development! please look forward to more details in the future!
It's not surprising that the Resident Evil 4 Remake will get a VR mode given it was originally announced when we first found out about the game last year. Even if it wasn't confirmed back then, the original Resident Evil 4 also eventually got a VR mode, presumably because it's widely considered the best series entry of all time.
