Bloober Team's Silent Hill 2 is one of the best horror games of all time. It's just as good if not better than the original, improving on every aspect, surprising much of the video game industry. After all, it wasn't so long ago when Bloober Team's very public disagreement with Konami went viral. Now, it's believed Konami has signed Bloober Team to remake more Silent Hill games.
With a sequel to Alien Isolation confirmed and the remake of Until Dawn making waves for all the wrong reasons, everyone's talking about horror games more than ever, and it appears Capcom couldn't let this stand without joining in on the fun.
Whether it's by design or not, an errant Resident Evil 9 page has appeared on the video games review aggregate website, Metacritic, over the weekend, hinting at an imminent reveal.
Of course, an official Metacritic page doesn't always guarantee an announcement. However, this isn't the first time Capcom has done something similar. If we go by the company's previous history, we could hear more about Resident Evil 9 over the next few months, perhaps before the year ends at The Game Awards.
