Can Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson add the weight of yet another marquee franchise on top of his massive shoulders? Well, it all depends on whether he wants to and if the powers that be want to bring him in.

In the case of James Bond, we've known since last year that he'd like to play the role.

Now, it appears that The Rock might be forever linked to the James Bond franchise by way of his family.

In an interview with LADbible TV (H/T to Wrestling Inc), The Rock revealed a nice factoid of his family, specifically, his grandfather. The owner of Hollywood revealed his grandfather, Peter Maivia, played the role of a villain in 1967's You Only Live Twice, which featured Sean Connery as 007. The Rock added that his grandfather had an amazing fight with Connery that saw him get hit with a sofa multiple times before being knocked out by a statue over his head.
