Is Stray finally coming to Xbox platforms?

If the ESRB rating is an indication, Stray will jump platforms and land on its feet without any effort soon enough.

Better yet, Stray's launch on the Extra and Premium tiers of PS Plus bodes well for its chances to join the Xbox Game Pass lineup.

If true, this would mean that subscribers could access the game at zero additional cost, which is a big win considering the smorgasbord of new games that were recently added to PS Plus this month.

Unfortunately, Stray's release on Xbox platforms and the Game Pass has not been officially confirmed at the time of writing.

But, the shift from a PlayStation exclusive to a multi-platform release is a significant move. In terms of its sales, it gives the development studio and publishers a chance to beef up its numbers and, hopefully, crunch down the numbers to check if it makes sense to do another similar project.

As an indie studio made up of "28 people and two cats", BlueTwelve Studio needs all the positive reinforcements to keep on improving and making amazing experiences like Stray.

Only time will tell if Stray is coming to the Xbox Series S/X, Xbox One, and the Game Pass. The PlayStation and PC releases appear to have done well, as gamers gravitated toward the cat game. So, we'll just have to wait and see where Stray will be headed next.
