"Stone Cold" Steve Austin surprised everyone last year when he brought an entire truckload's worth of ass-whooping over at WrestleMania 38 when he feuded and tangled with Kevin Owens. The Texas Rattlesnake's first in-ring action in years was a spectacle to behold but it left fans wanting more. After seeing him back like his old spry self, fans believe Stone Cold can do it again every year for the foreseeable future. If we believe the recent reports, the WWE might just be thinking the same.
The rumors started last year when the WWE Hall of Famer posted a video of him in excellent shape amidst rumors of another potential return to the ring. Although no new information has emerged since then, Dave Meltzer claims that Austin is "probably the surest of the three" for WrestleMania 39. Meltzer is talking about the triumvirate of Stone Cold, The Rock, and John Cena, which have been linked with WrestleMania 39 for a while.
Interestingly enough, Xero News is reporting that the WWE is talking about the possibility of bringing The Rock and Stone Cold back for Royal Rumble on Saturday, January 28, with the possibility of the two feuding for this year's WrestleMania. However, the source claims that this is all still in discussion, so things can and are likely to change.
