Sony to remove PlayStation Plus Collection in May

The good news is that redeeming the games means you'll still own them forever (and for as long as you're subscribed to PS Plus). It's not like you'll need to jump through hoops to redeem the titles as well. All you need to do is to hover over the PS Plus screen on your PS5 and navigate toward the "PS Plus Collection" icon. From then on, it's simply a matter of selecting each game and choosing "Add to Library." It's unclear if Sony will replace PS Plus Collection with something more modern but we doubt it.

If we were to speculate, this is part of Sony's move to drive up the sales of the PS5 even further, as well as the subscription numbers of the revamped PS Plus, for the next two quarters.

Speaking of the PlayStation, Sony is reportedly prioritizing work on the next PlayStation over the PlayStation 5 Pro. Finally, fans can look forward to the launch of the PSVR 2 later this month, which might not sell as well as Sony expected.
