The PlayStation Plus Collection is currently one of the key selling points for both buying a PlayStation 5 and subscribing to PS Plus. However, Sony is killing the 19-game strong lineup later this year for some reason.
Sony confirmed the unfortunate news in the same official PlayStation Blog post where it revealed this month's PS Plus titles, saying:
We also wanted to provide an update on the PlayStation Plus Collection that has been offered as a benefit to PlayStation Plus members on PS5 since 2020. On May 9, the PlayStation Plus Collection will no longer be offered. If you haven't redeemed the titles in this collection yet, you can still do so until May 9, which will enable you to access those titles even after this date for as long as you remain a PlayStation Plus member.
We previously ranked the games in the PS Plus Collection, but if we're being honest, you can't go wrong with any of them.
