Sony will host its next State of Play tomorrow

This all but confirms that we'll hear more about Square Enix's massive slate of upcoming games, including Forspoken, Final Fantasy XVI, Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 2, and the Chrono Cross remaster, among others.

Of course, Sony did add that the event will include "few updates from other developers located around the globe". We might just see more of Gotham Knights and Hogwarts Legacy tomorrow.

The upcoming 20-minute State of Play show will kick off at 14:00 PT / 17:00 ET / 22:00 GMT and will be available to watch on YouTube and Twitch.

In the meantime, feel free to spend the next 24 hours speculating about what kind of games the show will contain. Although it's not from a Japanese publisher, God of War Ragnarok is an ideal fit as the highly anticipated sequel has been rumored to launch either in June or September. We're also almost 100% sure that Ghostwire Tokyo will be there ahead of its March 25 release.

While we're not the topic of guessing, why not be bold and hope for a Resident Evil 4 Remake reveal? Capcom certainly fits the bill as a Japanese publisher and we've known for a while that Capcom is sitting on a handful of upcoming games, including Street Fighter VI.

Either way, it doesn't look like Sony is going to announce Project Spartacus tomorrow but recent signs point to this happening sooner rather than later.
