If you were expecting a PlayStation announcement or event tomorrow, we've got bad news for you.

The Snitch, as well as Jason Schreier, have "confirmed" in separate statements that whatever Sony planned for the last day of the month is no longer happening. Schreier claims that this is in line with Cory Barlog's recent tweet. Meanwhile, The Snitch mentioned to Kotaku that the delay makes them "more worried" about the current state of God of War: Ragnarok.

The best-case scenario here is that Santa Monica Studio just hasn't had the time to work on another trailer for Ragnarok, which suggests that the studio has had its hands full with the game. If this is true, it's best to leave the developers in peace to do their job. However, you can't exactly just tell audiences to be "patient" for what is easily Sony's biggest game since the PS5 launched. 2018's God of War was the best-selling game for the PS4 with nearly 20 million units sold, outselling even Minecraft (17 million) and Uncharted 4: A Thief's End (16 million). It's safe to say that there are high expectations for Ragnarok to deliver, which brings us to our other less-positive point.
