The Nurburgring is one of the most popular courses in the world. It's a legendary stretch of road full of everything any racing aficionado could ask for, ranging from long straights to banked corners and even hairpin bends, among many others. Due to its popularity, it's only natural that Polyphony Digital add the Nurburgring to Gran Turismo, including the series' most recent installment, Gran Turismo 7.
Over the years, hardcore gamers have taken to the Nurburgring to challenge themselves. For example, Drew Hanslow drove 200 laps around the Nurburgring in 27 hours last year to raise money for the charity, Speed of Sight. Another YouTuber, Super GT, did a similar thing a while back as well. But, while these players often had a goal in mind, 'firefox_gaming' doesn't.
The Redditor went 200 laps around the 24-hour layout of Nurburgring. Their reason? They had "too much free time." 'firefox_gaming' added that if their post on Reddit gets 100 upvotes, they'll do it again, which looks like it will be happening soon if they're willing to put their money where their mouth is. For their efforts, they received a paltry 42,000 credits from the race and 5,000 from the daily workout roulette. 'firefox_gaming' is definitely do this out of love of driving... or something else!
