Gran Turismo 7 teases new car lineup for November

The second row features an interesting lineup of vehicles. First is the second-generation Dodge Charger, but the exact model is a bit tricky to pin down as there have been three versions of the car that have appeared in the racing game. The Charger R/T 440 is the most likely candidate as it appeared in GT4 to GT6.

We are also getting the Dodge Challenger Demon in the monthly update. The Demon is the insane cousin of the Charger Hellcat already featured in Gran Turismo 7. For those who are wondering, the Challenger is a retro-styled two-door coupe while the Charger is a four-door sedan. The Demon sports a bigger and more powerful engine than the Hellcat.

Next up is the Tesla Model 3, a vehicle that has been teased even before the game was released in 2022. The Model 3 will likely be the Performance model that sports a 450bhp electric engine. It is highly doubtful that Polyphony would add the RWD or Long Range AWD variants to the game when the more powerful Performance model is available.

The identity of the next car is still uncertain but many speculate that it is the W201 Mercedes-Benz 190E. It may possibly be the EVO II variant which has been part of previous GT games. However, the image doesn't feature the giant rear wing of the EVO II. Some suggest that it may be the EVO I variant or the 190 E 2.5 16 Cosworth.

While the upcoming update features a lot of cars, many in the community are requesting for more tracks to be added to Gran Turismo 7. Gamers are also asking for longer and better-paying races along with endurance races. The grind has been very repetitive as Polyphony has not added a new track since February.

The Gran Turismo 7 update is expected to arrive on Thursday.
