Now, a new rumor suggests that audiences might finally see Wolverine wearing his familiar bright blue and yellow costume from the comics and animated series.
Hugh Jackman has played Wolverine for a total of eight X-Men films but none of them feature the actor wearing the yellow and blue suit. The original X-Men movie even mocked the comic book outfit with Cyclops calling it "yellow spandex.
However, a new rumor from reliable scooper @canwegetsometoast suggests that fans may soon see the iconic costume in Deadpool 3. The insider recently shared a photo of Wolverine's classic yellow and black mask on Instagram.
"Now that Deadpool 3 set photos are making their way online, I figured I could share this fun piece of news," the insider wrote. It's been LONG overdue, but we're finally getting the Wolverine we've always wanted.
