Capcom announced during its TGS 2022 Online Program that it will release the upcoming Resident Evil remake for PS4.

Earlier in the year, the publisher revealed it's working on a remake of the popular game for the PS5 and Xbox Series S/X. The revelation came during the PlayStation State of Play back in June and was accompanied by a trailer that showcased the game's modernized graphics. However, apart from an evident change to the game's aesthetics, the trailer did not provide insight into any other aspect of the game, especially the mechanics.

Here is the story of the Resident Evil 4 remake, as per the official website: 6 years have passed since the biological disaster in Raccoon City.

Leon S. Kennedy, one of the survivors of the incident, has been recruited as an agent reporting directly to the president of the United States.

With the experience of multiple missions on his back, Leon is sent to rescue the president's kidnapped daughter.
