A Bloodborne sequel, remake, and PC port have all been in discussion ever since FromSoftware released the award-winning PlayStation exclusive back in 2018. The launch of the PS5 only served as further fuel for the rumors after fans started asking for a 4K 60FPS upgrade of the game. But, as it turns out, FromSoftware has no intention of working on anything related to Bloodborne.

The latest piece of Bloodborne intel comes from Elden Ring insider, Omnipotent. In a screenshot of his conversations on a ResetEra thread, Omnipotent claimed that FromSoftware isn't working on Bloodborne at all. Specifically, Omnipotent claims that Dark Souls creator, Hidetaka Miyazaki, said that FromSoftware has no plans of returning to Dark Souls and Bloodborne. The leaker also said that he's "never come across anything being done with Bloodborne, even when actively seeking it out."

TLDR; if the most prominent Dark Souls sleuth can't find any information about Bloodborne at all, we don't know who will.

It Appears That There's No Bloodborne-related Project In The Works

If it's any consolation, Bloodborne fans already know better than to expect a PS5 patch, sequel, or port, to come. The infamous Nvidia GeForce leak didn't even leave any trace of Bloodborne at all, suggesting that FromSoftware is all but done with the game, at least for now. But, as Omnipotent says, "never say never", and while FromSoftware isn't working on Bloodborne, who's to say that Bluepoint Games isn't working on a port?
