, a critically acclaimed action RPG exclusive to PlayStation 4, continues to fuel speculation for a remake on PlayStation 5. Believe it or not, FromSoftware's final boss, Hidetaka Miyazaki himself, recently commented on its possibility.

Miyazaki, the current president of FromSoftware and the director of Bloodborne, among many other studio hits, recently spent time with different gaming outlets following the official reveal trailer of the Elden Ring DLC*, Shadow of the Erdtree*.

In a pair of separate interviews, Miyazaki addressed the potential benefits of a remake as well as the fan enthusiasm, which remains strong nearly a decade after Bloodborne first came out.

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree is easily one of the most anticipated expansions in recent years.

With IGN, Miyazaki reminisced his "great memories" working on Bloodbornemany years ago before confirming that he nor anyone from FromSoftware can speak on it because Sony owns the IP. Meanwhile, Miyazaki expressed his "happiness" about the continued passion for the game with Eurogamer, acknowledging the potential value that the new hardware could bring in terms of enhancing the game's visuals and accessibility for a wider audience, drawing parallels to the successful Demon's Souls remake.
