Now that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has wrapped up his tours for Netflix's Red Notice, it appears that he's getting ready to generate as much hype as he can for his DCEU debut. Case in point, the future WWE Hall of Famer just dropped a new magazine cover featuring him as Kahndaq's ruler.

"Superheroes don't kill bad people. But I do." - Black Adam

Here's A New Photo Of The Rock As Black Adam

Dwayne Johnson reportedly pitched Black Adam to Warner Bros. and DC Films over a decade ago. Since then, the plans for the anti-hero have changed drastically. Initially, Black Adam was set to make his DCEU debut as Shazam!'s villain, but when you've got Johnson playing the character, it's only fitting to try and give him a shot at starring in his solo movie, which is exactly what happened.

Throughout the year, we've gotten glimpses of The Rock as Black Adam. Earlier this year, we got footage of Johnson thanking the cast and crew as he wrapped up filming for the upcoming DCEU movie. A couple of months later and we finally got our first trailer for Black Adam. All this time, Johnson has talked about how his presence in the DCEU will change the hierarchy, even going as far as to say that Black Adam will beat Superman in a one-on-one fight.
