Are we going to get a Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake reveal soon?

Unfortunately, without an official confirmation, it all feels like we're going down the same rabbit hole again.

Over the years, we've heard several talks that a remake of either Metal Gear Solid 3 or the first Metal Gear Solid was in the works. So far, none of these talks have come to fruition. Also, there's no indication that Konami and Hideo Kojima have had a chance to patch things up. The last time Konami tried to do a Metal Gear game without the mysterious auteur, things didn't go so well.

So, even if the Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake does get announced, don't expect the series' fans to jump on the bandwagon immediately.

Konami has yet to prove that it can make a good Metal Gear game without the people who originally worked on it. With a lot of the said individuals jumping ship with Kojima over to Kojima Productions, there's legitimate concerns bout the quality of a non-Kojima Metal Gear title, more so as it's an attempt to remake arguably the best entry in the series.

We hope a Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake is indeed in development and that it will be revealed on May 24. More importantly, we're desperately praying that it's any good.

In an age whereremakes like Resident Evil 4 exist, the bar is set so much higher for Konami to meet.

But, hey, if Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake isn't coming, at least Kojima's still working on stuff. Don't forget, Kojima Productions has several new projects in the pipeline, the main highlight being Death Stranding 2.
