Neither Konami nor Sony have confirmed the remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Yet, the details about the supposedly incoming game keep leaking online. The latest claims that the next Metal Gear game will be available on the Xbox, after all.
Initial reports suggested that the remake of the first Metal Gear game in terms of canonicity would be exclusive to the PS5. But, it appears that this isn't the case.
According to a report by Insider Gaming, the Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake will be available to the PS5 and Xbox Series S as well as X and the PC (via Steam).
This is excellent news for Xbox owners but it's also a double-edged sword. The highly criticized Xbox Series S has a reputation for negatively affecting the performance of games. One developer even went as far as to call it out last year for its "potato" graphics card.
Of course, until we get an actual confirmation, it's far too early to worry about the potential performance of the Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake on the Xbox Series S.
