When it comes to video game sequels, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is right up there as the most anticipated of all time. Ever since Insomniac Games released Marvel's Spider-Man back in 2018, fans have been hoping for a chance to swing back into action in a follow-up to what many consider as the best superhero game ever. Although 2020's Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales was an excellent follow-up, it wasn't the full-blown sequel that fans were hoping for.
With that said, there is a sequel to Marvel's Spider-Man coming. Sony confirmed Marvel's Spider-Man 2 at its most recent showcase, among many other things. However, several fans felt disappointed after finding out that the game won't arrive until 2023.
Now, one of the game's voice actors, Tony Todd, might have just inadvertently explained why Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is taking so long.
