Marvel's Midnight Suns, the surprisingly good tactical role-playing game from last year, is finally headed to the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 next week. In addition to this, Firaxis Games will also bring one of the most popular Marvel characters into the game, Storm. Unfortunately, this isn't all good news as Firaxis has confirmed that the Nintendo Switch version of Marvel's Midnight Suns is no longer coming.
Firaxis published a blog post containing all of the details about the final DLC pack for Marvel's Midnight Suns, Blood Storm. The update brings the fan-favorite X-Men hero to the fight against the dark as well as the Xbox One and PS4 versions.
Here's the description of Storm based on the DLC's launch trailer: Expand your adventure with Storm in Blood Storm, the fourth and final post-launch DLC for Marvel's Midnight Suns. Storm can unleash powerful wind and lightning based attacks, bringing with her 10 unique Hero abilities. Plus, enjoy new story missions, a brand new Abbey Upgrade, and some fresh cosmetics for one of the most powerful mutants on the planet! https://youtu.be/fJPc4k0r7cQ
Firaxis didn't explain why the Nintendo Switch version of Marvel's Midnight Suns is canceled outside of saying that it's "no longer planned.
