Insider doubles down on Forza Motorsport release on October 10

The technological leap from the previous game is as significant as that between Forza Motorsport 4 and 7, offering fans an impressive evolution in simulation fidelity. For instance, the new tire collision model boasts eight points of contact with the track, a stark contrast to the previous entry's single point of contact. Adding to the realism, the track's temperature reacts to the day/night cycle and weather conditions dynamically as well, with rubbering accumulation adding an extra layer of tactical consideration for players.

Forza Motorsport promises to be a feast to behold for the eyes, boasting over 500 vehicles and 800 upgrades set across 20 diverse environments, five of which are new. However, The real stars of the show, the cars, will appear more lifelike thanks to a spectrophotometer, which improves light response across various colors and gloss levels. Damage and dirt buildup will also be more detailed, lending an added dose of authenticity. Add to this real-time ray tracing, and Forza Motorsport is set to be a visually stunning experience.

This much-awaited game is available for PC and Xbox Series S|X, and Game Pass Ultimate players can also enjoy it through cloud streaming.

The official confirmation of the release date is expected to be made during the Xbox Games Showcase, scheduled for 10 AM PT tomorrow.
