Publisher Forever Entertainment and developer MegaPixel Studio announced that the remake of the iconic 1997 arcade rail shooter will be available on Sony's newest-gen consoles on Friday, January 20. With the PS4 owners of the game also in the cards for an upgrade, it's not certain if the PS5 port coming in a few days will be suitable for crossplay.

This is how Forever Entertainment described their new project on the PlayStation Store page: Nobody leaves here alive!

THE HOUSE OF THE DEAD: Remake is a remade version of the game that was originally introduced in arcades. A classic arcade rail-shooter receives a whole new entourage and gameplay changes to suit modern gaming standards.
