Square Enix appears to be gearing up to add to its already stacked list of upcoming games in the coming months.

According to eagle-eyed observers, Square Enix might port the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series next.

The Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters are composed of the first six games in the mainline Final Fantasy franchise. Weirdly enough, Square Enix only released the collection on Steam and other mobile devices. Because of this, series veterans complained if it will be making its way to consoles next. Although getting a Steam Deck is a nice compromise, the bundle would've fit right in on the series' more traditional platforms.

Now, there's "proof" that the Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters are headed to the PlayStation, Xbox, and maybe even the Switch.

Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Might Be Coming To Consoles Soon

If you head on over to the release schedule page for Square Enix's upcoming games, you'll see that the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series is listed as "TBA" without a platform. Some pointed out that it could just be an old listing Square Enix forgot to update.
