Final Fantasy 16 is an upcoming PlayStation 5 exclusive that has so far impressed fans with its graphics. But, companies have burned gamers so much over the past decade with trailers that set unfair expectations for what the game could look like when it finally comes out. As a result, some are doubting that FF16 will look as good when it comes out next summer. If you ask the game's producer, Naoki Yoshida, though, he's more than happy to make fans expect.

According to translated comments made by the man who's affectionally referred to by his fans as "Yoshi-P" at a recent Final Fantasy 14 live stream, FF16 is going to "become a game that is like, 'Look at the power of the PS5!'

In the same live stream, Yoshi-P clarified that the "Revenge" trailer, for FF16, which launched at The Game Awards, all contained real-time footage.

The PlayStation 5 has no shortage of games that have tried to push it to its limits. We won't need to look further than the two GOTY candidates, God of War: Ragnarok and Horizon: Forbidden West, as examples of games that delivered on all expectations like graphics. Last year, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart showcased the power of the proprietary SSD of the PS5 as it let players switch seamlessly between worlds with zero loading times.
