The news of The Rock's return has sparked joy and excitement among the fan base, promising that Fast X is worth the long wait (and the expensive budget).

The announcement of Johnson's return has fueled speculation and intrigue about the story of Fast X. In particular, fans are eager to see how the film will reintegrate his character back into the high-stakes world filled with fast cars and increasingly brazen public acts of wanton mayhem.

Most had already assumed that Jason Momoa was hired specifically to replace The Rock, but it appears both will likely be sharing the big screen sooner rather than later.

Ironically, Momoa and The Rock should've been part of the same universe in the DC Extended Universe. Unfortunately, The Rock has since been fired while Momoa is up next following James Gunn's reboot.

Some speculate that Johnson's "return" in Fast X sets up the long-gestating Hobbs & Shaw sequel starring him and Jason Statham.

Speaking of Fast and Furious, the early reactions to Fast X are in and fans are absolutely loving it. Universal is also a big fan of it as well, as it has already asked Vin Diesel to turn the duology finale into a trilogy.
