Cody Rhodes is finally back, and judging by the betting odds, his run atop the food chain of the WWE will start in April at WrestleMania 39.
Rhodes wasted little time deciding who he will challenge at this year's WrestleMania. After storming onto the scene as the final man to enter the ring at this year's Royal Rumble match, Rhodes looked no worse for the wear in his first in-ring action in close to a year. Rhodes took no time displaying his athleticism as he pulled off the win over the record-setting Gunther, among others, to book the title shot that he's long wanted.
Now that the stage is set for Rhodes to win, it appears the betting odds are in his favor. The early odds put Rhodes as a -400 heavy favorite to become the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. What this means is that you need to place a $400 bet to win $100. In comparison, Roman Reigns is a +250 underdog, which means you'll win $250 if you bet $100 on the defending champion to win.
What's interesting here is what will happen between now and then. The Bloodline's storyline peaked at the latest episode of Monday Night RAW and we're pretty sure the WWE is setting Sami Zayn up as a pseudo-contender at Elimination Chamber on February 18.
