Amidst all the chaos and turmoil going on over at the WWE right now with Vince McMahon billionaire-walking his way back to the top of the totem pole and Stephanie McMahon resigning, the world's leading wrestling promotion is in dire need of some certainty.
This isn't likely to come anytime soon as the WWE is reportedly fielding offers from multiple parties that are interested in buying the whole thing. But, while the seas might get even rougher for the WWE, Triple H has reassured all the people inside the locker room that he's still in charge.
Triple H did say that maybe he and Vince McMahon have conversations about creative, but Vince defers final say to Triple H.

Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp reports that Triple H held a pow-wow before Friday's SmackDown to tell talent that he's still the WWE's creative head. In the meeting, Triple H is said to have been honest about ongoing discussions between him and McMahon. But, at the end of the day, Triple H told everyone that he still has the final say on what goes on.
According to the same report, Triple H told wrestlers that McMahon only returned to help facilitate the company's sale - not to meddle with what was going on behind the scenes creatively.
It's only natural for everyone, audiences included, to wonder if the elder McMahon came back to reassume his former post. Vince McMahon was the creative head of the WWE from 1982 until he retired last year. He has successfully shepherded the WWE throughout multiple golden eras and could be looking to add further to his legacy. But, if we believe the report, Vince McMahon respects his son-in-law enough to leave him in charge of the WWE.
For what it's worth, Vince McMahon is a business-savvy individual who knows what the people want, and they want Triple H.
The back half of last year saw the WWE post its most successful viewership numbers in years, such as a record-setting gate for WrestleMania 39. If Vince McMahon is helping to facilitate the sale of the WWE, it is in the company's best interests to keep Triple H in charge, which is why probably why he hasn't forced his way back to his former role. Either that, or he's just afraid that Triple H will bring out his trusty sledgehammer and ram him in the stomach with it.
