Sequels can be very challenging to pull off, especially for action flicks. The follow-up has to be bigger and more explosive. But, judging from what we've seen in the latest Extraction 2 trailer, it looks like one of Netflix's biggest hits is coming back with an even bigger bang.
Netflix showed off new Extraction 2 footage at the Netflix TUDUM Global Fan Event in the past week. The event was streamed on social media and the Netflix website.
In Extraction 2, Chris Hemsworth reprises the role of Tyler Rake, a black-market mercenary. During the previous film, his character was last seen gravely injured and his fate was left unknown at the end of the film.
"There's a moment when you say to yourself it can't be done, but instead of backing down, you push yourself forward into the unknown," says Hemsworth at the start of the video. He provides a voice-over for the featurette with the film's director, Sam Hargrave, providing a commentary on the film.
