Christmas came early for Dragon's Dogma fans earlier today.
As revealed by Dragon's Dogma director, Hideaki Itsuno, a follow-up to the cult-classic RPG is in the works.
The news came as a surprise at the end of today's 10 Years of Dragon's Dogma livestream, where the Dragon's Dogma team took off their hoodies to reveal matching t-shirts with a logo of Dragon's Dogma 2.
Dragon's Dogma first came out in 2012 for the PS3 and Xbox 360 and was a critical success. But, for some reason, it took a while for gamers to pick it up, likely because of the general lack of refinement and polish. It wasn't until Capcom released an enhanced version of the 2012 title, Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, which came out on the PC in 2016, as well as the Xbox One and PS4 in 2017, that gamers began to see it for what it was.
Thankfully, Dragon's Dogma is so cheap these days - you can probably get it for $5 or less on most platforms - that you owe it to yourself to check it out to see if it's worth all the hype.
