Activision's Call of Duty has been smashing records with the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0. The game has been a best-seller, earning over $1 billion since it launched.

The success of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 means that the studio can now focus on expanding the franchise more. Warzone 2.0 includes a new DMZ game mode that features AI enemies alongside human opponents in what players have dubbed Call of Duty's version of The Divisions' Dark Zone.

The Call of Duty series is also expanding more into the mobile arena. We already have a Call of Duty Mobile game, but Activision plans on connecting a new mobile version to Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0. Call of Duty Warzone Mobile will be the latest addition to the series.

The new mobile game will launch with familiar game modes and locations from the original Warzone and link the weapon progression to the current games in the series. Warzone Mobile will feature Domination and Team Deathmatch game modes set in locations within the Verdansk map.
