Biomutant was one of the weirdest games to come out in recent years. On one hand, the Experiment 101 passion project was oozing with character and potential. Unfortunately, the game also lacked polish and had plenty of flaws, which was reflected in our review round-up. It also didn't help that Biomutant didn't perform a lot better on next-gen consoles, in particular, the PS5.
Fast forward to a year after the game launched and it appears that Biomutant is getting a native PS5 version.
According to data spotted by cyber sleuths, a PS5 version of Biomutant had appeared on the PSN backend with a thumbnail of the game's artwork. Even though it doesn't have a release date, many are taking this as a sign that Biomutant is coming to, at the very least, the PS5 soon.
If nothing else, this would be in line with Experiment 101's hint in January that there's more coming to Biomutant.
