Change is the only thing guaranteed in this world. Much more so in the gaming industry at a time when developers are warier about releasing half-assed games.
Earlier this year, we found out that Activision will launch Warzone 2 before the year ends. At the time, most thought nothing more of it than an attempt to save face.
After all, Activision Blizzard fell flat on its face with last year's Call of Duty: Vanguard. So, it wouldn't surprise us if Activision reneged on its initial promise and pushed Warzone 2 back to 2023. But, while that option is still on the table, the controversial publisher just doubled down on releasing Warzone 2 this year.
According to Activision's Q2 FY23 earnings release, Warzone 2 is still coming out later this year.
