It's official - Call of Duty: Warzone is headed to mobile platforms.
Activision has finally talked about Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile again after going silent for the better part of the past year. According to the video game publisher, it plans to formally unveil the mobile game next week at the Next event.
Warzone Mobile will join Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 on the 15th as the highlights of the upcoming Call of Duty showcase.
Activision first announced Warzone Mobile in March, but the game's been rumored since at least 2020, thanks to job listings and insider info. It only makes sense for Activision to bring Warzone to a more accessible platform. The free-to-play shooter is easily its most profitable product. With Call of Duty Mobile pulling in good numbers as well, Warzone Mobile should help with the game's dwindling player count.
